The Spectrum Spotter

MICHAEL U. OBENIETA is a Sociology major (with minor in Mass Media) at Washburn University. He hails from Cebu City, the Philippines. He is married to a school teacher with whom he has two children, both boys. He enjoys exploring the extra in everything ordinary. He thinks weirdness and wonderful mean the same thing. Among his many dreams is to grow up so that he can be a child again. He thinks world domination is for wimps; the more daunting challenge is overcoming one's own infantile pettiness and our vulnerability to the vagaries of the ego. Instead of an overarching agenda, his graying head often goes light with a daydream. He values the creative vibes in the company of nonconformists.
